This guide explains how to request reimbursement for electricity costs from your employer when charging your electric vehicle at home. By following these simple steps in the Stroohm app, you can easily submit a reimbursement request and ensure you're compensated for the energy used while charging your company vehicle.

How to request reimbursement to your employer

1. Open the Stroohm app
2. Go to Chargers
3. Select the charge point you want to activate reimbursement on
4. Click the gear icon to open your charge point settings
5. Scroll down and click Reimbursements
6. Select the team you want to request reimbursement from
7. Scroll down and enter your electricity cost
8. Check the tick box to confirm you have provided your true electricity costs
9. Click Send request

Your request has been sent to your employer.

Enter the price you pay per kWh to your energy supplier. These are your actual electricity costs.

Please note: your employer determines the final reimbursement rate. This can be the rate you have provided as an employee, or the flat rate (~ CREG) as specified in Circular 2024/C/77.
